About Sugar Owl Design handmade quilts

Sugar Owl Design handmade blanket and quilt shop was born out of my passion for fabric and creating. I'm Carmelle, and I make all of our quilts from scratch here in my home studio in Herriman, Utah.

Part of the joy of making quilts for babies and kids is in imagining their little minds taking in the beautiful colors and patterns used. Our collections include punchy florals, shabby chics, masculine themes, and wintry cools. I love sourcing unique fabrics for our handmade quilts and coming up with fun and fresh ways to put them together into something beautiful.
